Chapter 1: How it all began


Blade was rushing through a big forest, tired from his long journey and very hungry.
Even though he was a guy with high stamina, he could not run forever without a break.
He stopped for a short moment and the only thing he saw were trees. A whole lot of them.

"Verdammt!!(Damn)", he shouted clearly comprehensible for everyone within a radius of at least one mile.
"I've been running all across this damned forest and there is still no exit in sight. This is so frustrating! My belly is as empty as my purse. Even if I find someone who gives me food, I can't pay for it. I really need a mission. Being a ninja isn't easy these days. What does it matter. My belly won't fill from standing around.", Blade said to himself and continued his oddyssey to find the way out of the forest.

He nearly gave up his hope to find out of the forest, but being one of the fighting kind Blade made his way out.
He followed a little path, leading him to a little town. Blade was not a fan of sight-seeing and so he was searching for the nearest inn.
After a short walk he found one and entered it.
The inn was nicely arranged, but Blade didn't care as his screaming-for-food belly distracted him from anything else.
He sat down on a bench and waited for a waitress.
His eyes met with the ground and only saw the wooden floor until a pair of big looking feet in white socks and sandals fell into his sight. His eyes were only focusing on the feet until his growling belly reminded him of what he was coming there for.
"Excuse me sir, are you alright??", a very kind and in some kind of way cute female voice spoke to him. Blade slowly lifted his head up, still trying to get the socked feet in his eye's focus.

"Oh man, this feet look so cute with socks. I wonder how they look like without those socks. Oh my goodness. My foot and tickling fetish comes out again. I'm out of food, out of money and out of bare feet to admire or even play with. Life is so cruel.", Blade thought.

"Ahem... Sir??", the voice spoke again.
"Oh hehe.. I'm sorry miss. I am so hungry that I'm nearly starving", Blade answered while he finished lifting his head.
He was a little scared to look at the waitress, because every time a waitress has a nice voice, they are more ugly than a piece of old wood he experienced. When his eyes met her's he was surprised to see a cute young girl, looking at him with a kind smile. She had long black hair (like many women there in Japan) with a cute purple ribbon in it.

"No problem sir. What shall it be??"
"A big bowl of rice would be nice. Cool, it was a rhyme", Blade said smiling at the young waitress.
"On my way!!", the waitress happily said, turned around and made her way to the counter to tell the chef about the order Blade had just placed.

While the waitress was walking away, Blade once again focused on the girl's feet. Nearly nothing could distract him until...

"AAARRGHH!! You damned bastards, get your hands off of me!! Let me go, or I will beat you up!! I know karate.", someone screamed from outside the inn.

Blade stood up to see what happened and walked out of the inn.
"God dammit!! Can't you all be quiet. I'm tired and hungry and now I want to have my freedom while eating. Got it??", Blade grumbled, turned around and went back to his bench."
He didn't even look at the people who caused his disturbance.

"Here is your bowl of rice, sir. I wish you a good appetite.", the waitress tells Blade with a smile on her face. She bows a little and then walks away, right off to the next customer.
Blade was confused. He had no idea whether he should listen to his belly, screaming for the rice to be gulped down or if he should satisfy his eyes by staring at the waitresses feet. He decided to eat. He could look at the waitress feet a little more later, but he still had another problem.

"How the heck can I get out of this situation without having to pay for the rice??", Blade thought, not realizing that the waitress was standing right in front of him.

"Ahem... Sir?? Are you listening??", the waitress asked him.
"Oh yes, sorry young miss. I'm in deep thoughts today. How can I help you?? How much is the rice??", Blade asked.
"Oh it's for free", the waitress answered.
"Well thank you ve.."
"It's free, but only under one condition. You have to go to the woods at the other end of town and bring us some wood. My best friend Sakura went there, but it's said that these woods are pretty dangerous for beautiful young women like her. She does not know but since you look like an adventurerer, may I ask you to look after her??"

"Sure thing. I will help you. I'm on my way already!", Blade shouted, jumped up from the bank and ran out of the inn, leaving only a cloud of dust and his purse behind.

"You look like an adventurer... I'm a ninja for crying out loud. And what kind of stupid mission is this?? I shall get some wood. The only wood I get is when I think of the waitresses feet", Blade said to himself adding: "Ah Scheiße!!!(shit) I forgot my purse. Thinking about it, it doesn't matter at all. It was empty...

When Blade reached the woods, he heard screams similiar to those he heard in front of the inn.
"Could this be that Sakura girlie?? I hope she is as beautiful as the waitress said. On the other side. Even if she looks like sushi, I may get the chance to show off my skills. I've gotten a little rusty recently.

Following the screams, Blade hid on top of a tree to lookat the scene from above. He saw a few big and ugly guys harrasing a younbg girl wearing a pink kimono with flower application. And also she was wearing the same footwear as the waitress did, awaking Blade's interest in Sakura.

When the men wanted to strip Sakura, Blade couldn't wait and jumped down the tree, directly attacking the men.

"Who are you, little boy?? Are you trying to save this cute little girl?? Then try and get her or DIE!!!", one the men, a nearly 7 ft. tall man shouted and ran towards Blade, waving his small dagger."
"Then come and try to get me!", Blade answered and threw a few shuriken right towars the man and his 2 friends, hitting their arms.
"Come on girl, pick up some wood and then lets get out of here. Hurry before they get back up", Blade told Sakura and ran with her as fast as they could right out of the wood.
In their hurry they ran out of the woods and to a small empty house.

"You are the guy from before. I recognize you. Did you have a good meal??, Sakura wanted to know.
"Yes I had. And I was send here to help you with the wood.", Blade answered.
"Well thank you then. May I ask you to be your partner in wandering. You are a wanderer right??
"No I'm not a wanderer. But I begin to wonder everyone is thinking that I am an adventurer or wanderer. I'm a ninja!", Blade told Sakura.
"Hmm as thanks for saving my life I want to walk with you. Could be interesting. Please, I would do everything if you let me go with you", Sakura said, looking at him.
"Shall I take her with me?? She will only distract me, but she is so stunningly sexy and she said she would do anything... I have an idea", Blade thought.
Blade smiled at Sakura and said: "Ok you can go with me, under one circumstance."
"And what kind of circumstance is that??"
"You will see", Blade answered and smiled devilishly....
